MCR and tides

Here is the first cut for the analysis for the correlation of the variation on the pixel intensity time series (from a timex) and the tide as measured in Astoria. I used several arrays, as can be seen on the figure on the right to check the temporal variation of I. I included some gages over the jetties, that show that they move a bit, suggesting that the whole record is not rectified with 100 % accuracy.

However, the other gage arrays show little correlation with the tide signal. The only one showing some correlation is the one located in the surf zone (yellow area on the image), as shown below.
