Update on the last day of the week of the last plot on the last post of yesterday

I included the line showing the bar height that could be obtained at any given depth. The equation is rather simple

Delta h=3.0*h


but it should be noted that this value is a direct result of the profile shape used (that is, the parameter space for the model of Hsu et al (2006) ; the beach slope and sediment fall velocity. It also depends on the selection of the unperturbed profile to be used as reference, so this result should be taken with a pinch of salt.



That being said, it is clear from the plot that once an equilibrium bar is generated at a certain depth (the white dashed line), typically more than 80% of the wave conditions will see it, something very good I would say.
